This four-hour, 240-minute field guide connects exact primary text, literature in the U.S. public domain, measurement, mechanics, official science media, writing, movement, and evidence. Adults may study directly. Parents and guardians control whether and how any part is presented to a child.

This release is a supplemental learning trial, not enrollment, accreditation, or a school-of-record service. Families may use the field guide in a normal browser without creating an account. This public Site does not accept learner names, answers, credentials, pairing secrets, or private education records.
The governing rule
Age controls safety and permissions. Comprehension controls instruction.
The source truth does not change when the presentation changes. A six-year-old, a teenager, and an adult can study control, force, literature, and cooperation; materials, independence, language, and evidence expectations change with readiness.
Choose depth—not a global grade
Use the strongest presentation the learner can complete honestly.
A learner may use different bands in reading, mathematics, science, and writing on the same day.
Developing presentation
Read the short sources, explain cause and effect, measure, graph, and defend a choice.

- State the purpose of the day before beginning it.
Evidence: one spoken or written controllable action—not agreement with Stoicism as a required belief.
Block 02 • 45 minutes
The individual and the pack.
Read literature as literature: notice its power, its context, and where its metaphor stops.

Keep the frame visible
This is late nineteenth-century British imperial literature set in India. It is fiction, not wolf biology, Stoic doctrine, or real law.
Test the metaphor
Give one example where cooperation increases strength and one where truth or safety requires questioning the group.
Make the rule defensible
Complete: “A strong pack helps each member by ___, but no pack may require ___.” Support both clauses.
Block 04 • 50 minutes
Lever Lab: find a better place to stand.
The generic Load–Fulcrum–Lever–Evidence routine is adapted from the separately held Archimedes Lever field method; no private diary material enters this lesson.
Materials
- A 12-inch or 30-centimeter ruler
- A tightly rolled towel or cardboard tube
- Two similar paperback books
- Paper, pencil, and measuring tape
Use only light objects. Keep fingers clear of pinch points. Stop if the setup slips or the learner feels pain, fear, or loss of control.
Place one book on one end of the ruler. What are you trying to lift?
Put the rolled towel beneath the ruler. Measure its distance from the book.
Press gently on the other end. Move the fulcrum and compare the effort—never add body weight.
Record distance, result, and one sentence explaining why the effort changed.
Established fact
A lever rotates around a fulcrum. Increasing the effort arm can reduce the force needed for the same torque, while the effort point travels farther.
Scientific model or analogy“Find the fulcrum” is also used here as a problem-solving analogy. Human decisions are not literally simple machines; name where the analogy helps and where it fails.
Block 06 • 45 minutes

An adult opens the external source, checks the presentation, and chooses the depth. Academy does not embed recommendation feeds or claim ownership of federal media.

Required output after the video
- Draw the system and label force, mass, motion, and the evidence you observed.
- Write one claim that the demonstration supports.
- Name one thing the demonstration does not prove.
- Change one condition in the tabletop lever and predict the result before testing.
Block 07 • 50 minutes
Train capability without using exercise as punishment.
Children require active adult supervision. Adults self-select within their health, ability, space, and professional guidance.
Warm & orient
Easy walk or march, comfortable joint circles, balance near a stable support, and a spoken readiness check.
Move with joy
Choose an ability-appropriate option: dance, active play, brisk walking, step-and-reach, soft-ball tracking, or another family-approved activity.
Build form
Choose two: chair sit-to-stand, wall push, low step-up, supported hinge, controlled footwork, or carrying a light household object through clear space.
Recover & teach back
Easy walk, ordinary breathing, water, and one explanation of how position changed leverage or stability.
Block 08 • 15 minutes
Completion records practice. Retention requires later evidence.
Teach back Load → Fulcrum → Lever → Evidence using the book-lifting experiment.
Use the same pattern on a non-mechanical problem without pretending the analogy is exact.
Defend one condition under which a person should support the pack and one under which they should seek help or dissent.
Schedule a 48-hour no-notes prompt. “Retained” is not awarded today.
A finished day is not certified mastery. Academy mastery will require repeated independent observations, transfer, teach-back, prerequisites, and a later retention check inside the secure learner system.
